Solid Hardwoods – Red Oak, Natural Cane – harvested in Asia from Bamboo. Seat and Back are handwoven in the NC mountains. A living fiber, cane likes moisture which keeps the cane from becoming brittle.

Mortise and tenon construction and Shaker techniques

Steam Bent back posts and curve backs

Turnings on front rungs and posts

Finish – solvent base stains applied by hand and top coated with a durable lacquer
